A graduate of Whittier College with a Bachelor's Degree major in Business Administration, minor in Economics and Accounting. He spent over twenty years of management with the J.C. Penney Company, and then launched a new career in the Hospitality Industry. He has owned and/or been the General Partner of nine Hospitality properties. Since 1978 he has been involved in the Brokerage of Commercial Real Estate with a major emphasis on Hospitality products. Mr. Hempenius has a long list of accomplishments and education relative to the lodging industry. Past President of the California Lodging Industry Association and past member of the California Hotel and Motel Association. He is currently a member of N.A.R., C.A.R. and Scenic Coast Board of Realtors.
